What makes the model work is architecture.
Our core is a deliberate blend of Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Domain Architects and Engineers whose combined experience exceeds 150 years of ICT infrastructure and integration delivery. Designing a response that an evaluator will score well, an architect will not tear apart and an engineer can actually build is precisely the discipline that experience buys.

Enterprise Architects
They keep the design coherent with the estate around it — connecting business strategy to the technology portfolio, so that what we propose serves where the organisation is going.
Within an engagement they enable:
- Business capability modelling and business–IT alignment
- Current-state, target-state and transition architecture
- Technology standards, principles and reference architectures
- Application and technology portfolio rationalisation
- Architecture governance, review boards and roadmap sequencing
Solution Architects
They author the design — converting a requirement into a buildable, integrable and affordable solution, selecting which AI-native components answer it, and owning the commercial case that justifies it.
Within an engagement they enable:
- Technical solution design and integration architecture
- Non-functional requirements, compliance matrices and risk position
- Component and partner evaluation against the requirement
- Cost model, TCO and the commercial business case
- Design authority from submission through build and into production
Domain Architects
They are the reason a design survives both technical clarification and contact with production — someone on the team has already done this specific thing, at scale, before.

The people behind the designs.
WantedX is an ICT solution design and delivery company founded in 2022 by a group of knowledge freelancers — architects and engineers with years of corporate experience in ICT Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Technical Architecture and engineering services. We serve SMME ICT service providers, medium and large enterprises, and the public sector.
We do not build the products ourselves. The intellectual property in our designs belongs to our respective partners — an extended ecosystem of South African innovators whose AI-native solutions we assure, design in and integrate. That separation is deliberate: it keeps our selection honest, because we are never defending a product of our own. Everything we put in front of a customer is AI-native and South African-developed.
